Welcome to the Ultimate Gridiron Experience — Youth NFL Flag Football at Ascension St. John Sportsplex!

Whether your child is just starting out or already dreaming of making game-winning plays, our Youth NFL Flag Football League offers the perfect environment to grow, compete, and have fun. Open to boys and girls from Kindergarten through High School, this league is designed to teach the fundamentals of football in a fast-paced, non-contact format that emphasizes skill development, sportsmanship, and team spirit.

Players will experience the excitement of official NFL Flag Football, complete with authentic team gear, structured weekly games, and professionally organized coaching. From crisp passes to thrilling touchdowns, every moment on the field is an opportunity for your child to build confidence, sharpen athletic ability, and make lasting friendships.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

SEASON INFORMATION

  • League Play: 8 game guarantee: 8 league games, and 1 minimum playoff game
    • All Regularly scheduled league games will be played on Saturdays.
    • Rescheduled games are subject to Double Headers or Sunday games (Scarcely are games scheduled throughout the week).
    • Don’t let other sports schedules discourage you from participating! We will work with your team to avoid conflicts as much as possible.
  • Registration Includes:
    • NFL Flag Uniform Reversible Jersey and Flag Set
    • Practice field time each week
    • 8 game guarantee
    • Referee games fees are included.
  • Practices: Will be held MAINLY at Ascension St John SportsPlex. Teams will practice weekly at a time and day to be determined by the head coach.
  • Age Groups: Kindergarten –  High School
  • Coed
  • Divisions: Each grade level will have it’s own individual division (besides Middle School which is 7th+8th):
    • Kindergarten
    • Grade 1-2
    • Grade 3-4
    • Grade 5-6
    • Middle School
    • High School

HOW TO REGISTER

  • We Welcome FRIENDSHIP TEAMS – If you are a coach of a team, or would like to form one, please click the Team Manager/Coach Button under” How are you Registering?”. Coaches will approve team members to be on the roster once registered for the team. Minimum Roster size is 5 players, Maximum Roster size is 10 players.
  • If Registering a New Team:
    • If your team is not set up, please select: “Register a Team”
    • Enter your team name and set the registration code
    • Register yourself as Team Captain/Manager or Coach – by choosing the register button on the right of the league you registered your team for
  • If Joining a Team:
    • If you are a player registering for an existing team, please select: “Join a Team”
    • Please contact your coach, manager, or team captain to obtain the registration code

WHAT TO BRING

  • Shorts with no pockets
  • Turf shoes or cleats (no metal cleats)
  • Players with no signed waiver will not be allowed on the field
  • Players should log into their DaySmart account weekly to check their game time
